Djinn (anglicized as genies) - although usually in Djinn (anglicized as genies) - although usually invisible, are supposed to be composed of thin and subtle bodies and can change at will. If they are injured by someone, they usually seek revenge or possess the assailant’s body, requiring exorcism. Individual djinn appear on charms and talismans. Humanity was nothing more than cattle to this super predator, but for reasons lost to time their empire collapsed, humanity ascended to live and bask in the sun as the predators hid from the light.

The surviving Brood buried themselves deep within the earth, coming up only when the bloodshed of man’s war with itself soaked the soil so deep that it awoke the sleeping hunters.

In the fog of battle, they would feed, uninhibited, only to return to the depths when the screams have faded.

They will be with us again, for as you know mankind’s desire for bloodshed is only overshadowed by his inability to learn from the past.
